The Palace of Culture in Lutsk is a renewed hall for 500 persons. There are 3 choreography halls, 15 rooms for curriculum activities, etc. Seven amateur groups are working on the basis of the Palace of Culture which are called “folk amateur”, among them: one kids group which has the title “excellent”, children choreography studio and a ball dance studio, a club of the war and labour veterans "Restless hearts". Different art events also take place here.

The Palace of Culture in Lutsk and the whole Volyn region as well are  proud of the famous art bands: exemplary ensemble of a folk dance “Volynianochka”, brass band of the staff members, folk dance ensemble "Volynianka", folk musical instruments orchestra  "Volynianka", folk music ensemble "Volynianochka" ball dance ensemble "Iunist’", choral group "Posvit", male choir of the war and labour veterans "The Heroic Deed". The members of bands take active part in local art and cultural events, international festivals and competitions which are held abroad.

The first Palace of Culture in Lutsk was opened in autumn in 1957 and in 1994 it was reorganized into the local folk institution “Prosvita”. After the reconstruction in 2006 the Palace of Culture became a real decoration of the Teatralnyi Square in Lutsk.

The head of the Palace of Culture is – the honored art figure of Ukraine Iurii Voinarovskii.
